Treibstoff’s regular artist and „Bouillabasser“ Sarah Goldfarb once again presents music from the world’s best drummer: his computer. He has never been really interested in any razzling dazzling productions, he rather prefers creating event-oriented Techno music for all the aficionados of contemporary big city-symphonies who know what really matters. Beats are rushing by like power poles and rattling percussions and sound planes smoothed by hand are going the long way from vodka stomper to disco romance. These sounds won’t get bogged down in any run down monumental breaks. They rather garnish their dense textures with little moments of timelessness beyond any neo-minimal tunes. These wicked moments when everybody is up in the air and wishes it would last forever are moments Sarah Goldfarb knows like the back of his hand and how to sketch it. But he keeps on putting the boiler back on the track on his way to the next exit. Well, it is motorway funk, you know. It’s like a great road movie in your head that will tickle your legs.
